And one might
as well say that the presence from the prince and of his wife Charlene
Wittstock was truly expected. Because further to rumours and surrounding
scepticism on their true love that one and the other, the prince Albert
II had cracked in a deep interview to a french newspaper, just back
from their honeymoon trip. The occasion for him to criticise in a
firm way the media which took over these rumours since the marriage of
July 1st and that has never stopped later...
This second public
appearance of the prince Albert II and of the princess Charlene, after
visit on July 21st upon the return to their honeymoon at the exhibition
dedicated to their marriage in the oceanographic museum of Monaco, was
therefore a chance one more time to make hush up about all sceptics.
The
princely couple could admire during a magical night the performances
of the biggest athletes of the planet, in some weeks of the World
championships of Daegu in South Korea, on the occasion of this stage of
the League of Diamond. On the side of performances, they expected the
French stars, with in the foreground the young person at sprint French
Christophe Lemaître and the pole-vaulter Renaud Lavillenie. And if this
last took the status of European champion and of France officially by
ending on the first place with a jump in 5,90 metres, the nugget of the
tricolour sprint disappointed.
In his duel expected with the
Jamaican arrow Usain Bolt, 100 metre recordman, Olympic and worldwide
champion and probably bigger sprinter of all time, Frenchman failed.
Having made tired by loaded sound and a light wound in aducteurs,
Christophe Lemaître ended on the 5th place in 10 seconds 03, far behind
the king Bolt (9 "88).
But the party was especially marked by a
distressing show which took place under the eyes of the prince Albert
and of her beloved princess... Two French athletes, Mehdi Baala, double
European champion 1500 metre and awarded a prize by bronze in the
Olympic Games of Beijing in 2008 came from it to hands with the young
person Mahiedine Mekhissi to the existent of 1500 metres. A true street
fighting and a deplorable picture given by both athletes who confronted
one another in punches and head-butts before being separated by the
vice-Olympic champion Nick Willis. (see video below). VIDEO OF THE DAY Real fight between athletes, unbelievable!
